A big thank you to all came out to support the cause on Saturday! We just about reached our goal of $1500 and are able to purchase computers and internet access for over 10 refugee families in town.

I hope everyone is putting together their best Halloween costumes! Get ready for a night of Halloween fun!

This Halloween-themed Karaoke fundraiser is happening on Saturday, October 27th, 2012 from 7-11 PM at Kahler Grand Hotel’s Heritage Hall!

Come dressed up in your best costumes, and enjoy karaoke, a silent auction, photography booths, a great array of food, and more!

 

Headway

The C.A.R.E. Fundraiser is finally making headway!

We have:

• a goal ( raise $1500 to provide refurbished computers to at least 15 refugee families settling in our community)
• a venue (the Kahler Grand Hotel, whose staff has been more than gracious enough to aid us in our endeavors)
• a team (a youth corp of about 8 teenagers)
• a theme (Halloween and Karaoke)
• some publicity (thanks to the help of many local businesses)
• a hopeful spirit!
